How do mainstream audiences engage with disability?
- Accessibility
This session examines how disability is framed, communicated, and experienced by mainstream audiences across some of today’s most influential media and cultural platforms. Through five concise case studies—from public broadcasting and global entertainment to gaming conventions and international journalism—the session explores how accessibility features, editorial choices, and narrative strategies shape public perceptions of disability.
