Evangelische Stiftung Alsterdorf
About
The Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf (ESA) is a diaconal service provider in Hamburg. With approximately 6,900 employees it is the largest diaconal organization in Northern Germany. Working together for an inclusive society – that is what the Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf stands for. "People are our life" is both its guiding principle and its commitment. People should be supported in living as self-determined and independently as possible. The ESA offers assistance, housing, and educational services for people with disabilities, as well as services in child and youth welfare. Medical and therapeutic treatments in the foundation's hospitals are just as much a focus of its work as educational programs in daycare centers and schools, as well as senior care and nursing. The ESA's services are available at more than 180 locations in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Lower Saxony. "Health for all - now" is a foundation-wide initiative for an inclusive healthcare system.
