In healthcare, his campaign secured mandatory free disabled parking at every NHS hospital in England, improving access for over three million Blue Badge holders — a change described by the University of Kent as among the single largest reforms in NHS treatment of disabled people. Dr Kush’s work with the Mayor of London is embedding disability inclusion and reasonable adjustments into the Ultra Low Emission Zone and Transport for London, with Mayor Sadiq Khan praising him as a “passionate disability rights champion.” Recognised among the UK’s most influential disabled people and honoured globally, Dr Kush brings lived experience, strategic mastery and tenacity to systemic reform that will benefit generations to come.
